Your images stay on your device

LocalTools is a client-side tool. Decoding, editing, compression and PDF creation all happen locally in your web browser using JavaScript. Your images, the generated PDF and any edits are never uploaded to a server, never stored by us, and never seen by anyone but you. The tool keeps working even if you go offline after the page has loaded.

Information we collect

We do not require an account and do not collect your files. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to count anonymous page views and improve the site. These analytics do not access your images.
