Every conversion is computed locally in your browser. Nothing you enter ever leaves your device.

Instant & two-way

Results update live as you type, in either direction — no “convert” button and no page reloads.

Accurate

Conversions use exact, standards-based factors, so you get the same answer a trusted reference would.

Works on any device

No install and no account — it runs in any modern browser on desktop, tablet or phone.

Square meters, square feet, acres and hectares

Area factors are the length factors squared — one square foot is 0.0929 m², one square meter is 10.76 sq ft. The converter also covers the land units: an acre is 4,047 m² (about 43,560 sq ft) and a hectare is exactly 10,000 m² (2.47 acres).

Homes and land at a glance

A 100 m² apartment is about 1,076 sq ft; a quarter-acre lot is roughly 1,000 m²; a football pitch is close to 0.7 hectares. Real-estate listings are the classic use — US listings quote square feet, most other markets square meters.
